What's new
- 20 TB on every plan. Previously Basic shipped with 1 TB, Starter with 2 TB. Now every tier gets 20 TB. This is the highest bandwidth allocation in the sub-$50/mo VPS market.
- NVMe Gen4 storage. No SATA SSDs anywhere in the IST1 pool. 4× more sequential throughput than SATA SSD, 4× more random IOPS than the previous NVMe Gen3.
- Nine plans from $15 to $240/mo. Basic, Starter, Medium, Standard (most popular), Professional, Premium, Business, Enterprise, Ultimate.
- 5-ms local peering. Direct peering with Turkcell, Turk Telekom, Vodafone, Superonline. No transit hop for Turkish users.
Why Istanbul matters
Turkey sits at the crossroads of Europe, MENA and Central Asia. Istanbul is the natural landing point for services targeting any of those markets — and until now, budget VPS providers have not had a serious presence here. Contabo, Vultr and Linode don't have Istanbul regions at all. DigitalOcean has Frankfurt, but that's a 40-50 ms hop from Turkish users.
Compliance
Istanbul is our KVKK-compliant region. Data physically stays inside Turkey. For companies bound by KVKK data-localization rules, this eliminates a common blocker to using cloud VPS at all.
